Sellers moving into Europe usually open with the same question: should they put everything into one warehouse, or spread stock across several countries? After years of running our own sites we think neither extreme works. What works is a single network, one system and one pool of stock that can be moved between countries as demand shifts.
Where our warehouses are
LESIGOU operates six self-operated Overseas Warehouses in Europe. They are our own leases and our own staff, not brokered space:
- France, Strasbourg (FR-SXB). Our largest site, on the German border at the geographic centre of Europe. It covers Overseas Warehousing, Dropshipping, Returns Inspection and FBA Returns and Relabeling.
- France, Paris (FR-PAR). Around 2,000 m2 with a 170 m2 office, sitting close to the carrier drop-off points. A local team of twelve dispatches roughly 2,000 dropshipping parcels a day.
- Germany, Braunschweig (DE-BWE). About 2,000 m2 in central Germany, up to 1,000 orders a day, with long-standing DePost and DHL relationships.
- Spain, Hernani in Gipuzkoa (ES-EAS). Northern Spain, covering the Iberian market and the cross-border flow into south-western France.
- Italy, Brescia (IT-BRC). In the industrial belt near Milan, acting as a hub for the whole country. Transfer goods leave within 24 hours at a cost you can quote in advance.
- United Kingdom, Warrington (UK-WAR). Around 3,000 m2 in North West England, up to 2,000 orders a day, serving the UK as the separate customs territory it now is.
What a network actually buys you
Three things, in our experience.
First, one Warehouse Management System across every site. You see the same stock report, the same order status and the same billing logic whether a parcel leaves Braunschweig or Warrington, and the system connects to your marketplaces and ERP through the same set of APIs. There is no per-country spreadsheet to reconcile at month end.
Second, moving stock between sites is a routine operation rather than a project. If Italian sales run ahead of the forecast and French stock is sitting still, we transfer pallets inside the network instead of asking you to place another order in China and wait five weeks for the sea freight.
Third, the value-added services are the same everywhere. Returns Inspection, FBA Returns and Relabeling, FBA Transshipment, reverse logistics labels and pure battery handling are available from any of the six sites, so choosing a warehouse never means giving up a service.
The numbers behind it
Across the network we run more than 20,000 m2 of warehouse space and seven order processing centres, staffed by over 70 people based in Europe. On a normal day the network handles more than 10,000 orders, dispatches within 24 hours of the order dropping, and turns an inbound container around in under 48 hours. Fulfilment accuracy sits at 99.99% and inventory accuracy at 99.95%.
Why we run the sites ourselves
The team behind LESIGOU started out as Amazon and eBay sellers, so we have been on the other side of the conversation: chasing a third-party warehouse that will not answer the phone in November, or discovering that a return was signed for three weeks ago and never scanned. Owning the leases and employing the warehouse staff means there is one company to call and one company accountable for the result.
If you would like help deciding which site should hold your stock, send us your SKU list, your monthly volume and your marketplace mix, and we will come back with a concrete proposal.
